Avery and Brothers

I am so blessed to live in such a great neighborhood. We have made so many friends over the last few years. And these little kiddos belong to one of those families. This summer we were counting how many families were expecting a baby in our neighborhood, and we got up to 17! They are definitely keeping me in business, and working with great families makes me love this job.

I cannot say enough good things about this family. I really admire them. So cute, so sweet!

Deagan and Brothers

These handsome little guys belong to my cousin and his wife. I was expecting a little chaos with 5 boys in my basement during this session, but they were so helpful and cooperate. I would take a family of all boys anyday, and I would love to keep little Deagan.

Kingston

King's parents were so in love with their new arrival. His dad is from Hawaii and brought some fun blankets to use a props. What a fun session, and beautiful baby.

Will and O

I was so excited to take pictures of these two little men. They belong to my good friend Sarah, who is amazing at everything she does. And so of course, she brought the cutest props to celebrate Owen's one year birthday. She made the hat and had the cup cakes to match! I was so impressed. I hope you love them Sarah!

I recently got some new birth annoucements! I am having fun making them for clients.

Austin

Austin was such a sleeper. After 4 newborn sessions last week, I was so thankful for a sleeper!! Check out is adorable chubby cheeks. His parents brought some fun blue blankets, hats, and booties that were made for his dad when he was young. What a sweety.

Ryker

Ryker had so much hair for a newborn boy, we did not know what to do with it! Isn't it so cute?! He was so much fun, such a handsome little man!

Ella

Here is baby Ella. Her parents were willing to drive down from Logan for her newborn session. She was good to sleep the entire way to Salem, and then fall asleep for me so I could capture her innocence. What a sweety.

Garrett

I've been photographing Harper since he was 6 months old, so I was excited to now photograph his little bro at 6 months too. His expressions are adorable! They belong to the cutest family.

Kingston

This little guy was sucha sleepy baby. He arrived and we got right to work. They had the sweetest mom who came with lots of ideas and was so willing to let me do whatever I wanted. He and his big brother were SO adorable and had be hoping for 2 boys of my own.

Rafe

Baby Rafe was so so sweet. Although he was awake most of the time, he didn't make a peep. I didn't mind because I had just as much fun chatting with his parents whom I have known for years. Rafe belongs to such a cute family and I look forward to seeing him grow up.

My little boy is always asking me if "kids are coming?" Which means he is hoping for some kids to come get their pictures taken so he can have someone to play with. I seem to get the cutest and sweetest children who are not only good for pictures, but are good to play with my son. This family was no exception. They had the cutest smiles and personalities.

Paylor

We are so blessed to have such great neighbors, including the Robbins family. They have the cutest kids, so I was excited to photograph their newest arrival, Paylor. So beautiful and so sweet!

Keegan

I think Keegan holds the record for being the biggest newborn I have photographed. Weighing 10 pounds 13 ounces! I was so glad his mom brought him at 6 days old, because he will not be a newborn for long. I just can't get over how adorable his chubby cheeks, squishly lips, dipple chin, and baby rolls are. He belongs to a family of football fans, so they brought in some cute props. I had so much fun with this little man.

Kylie Miyoko

When parents come for their session I always ask them how they decided on their baby's name. My favorite response is when they use a name that is after someone who touched their lives. That is how little Kylie Miyoko got her name. She was such a sweety, and so were her parents. They came with the cutest blankets, that made the cutest pictures.

Lydia

August must be the month for newborns! It has been crazy busy, but I am loving this job more every day. Lydia has the cutest, chubbiest, newborn checks I have ever seen. She was not happy during our session, but she came back a few days later and proved she could be a model letting me pose her in every way. It was so worth every minute of trying to get her to sleep. Precious!

Taiya

Oh my gosh! This baby has the cutest expressions, and her mom brought such cute accessories. I honestly wanted to keep her.

Joe

Little Joe's hair and complection was to die for! Where did he get it? Just look at his beautiful mom. I was definitely jealous. Joey was so good for me, especially when my power went out and I could not use my lighting! AHHH! But I was able to get a few natural lighting shots before the sun went down. Another baby and another beautiful family!

Jenson

Jenson was wide awake for about 2 hours, but then crashed and we got busy. He has such beautitul skin and eye lashes. I just love his wrinkly forhead in some of the shots.

Maggie

Little Maggie was such a good girl, except when she pooped. And she did a lot of it in my studio!! Trust me, it comes with the job. I find myself doing a lot of laundry after each sesson, but don't mind because usually afterward they will sleep for me. Maggie was so precious and I was happy to do her pictures while they were up from Arizona. I just love her chubby cheeks and big blue eyes.

Mason vs Leo

The previous post show my cute new nephew Leo. I have had so many people comment that he looks just like my son Mason. I have to admit, I could have sworn he was my Mason. So for the fun of it I have to compare the two. What do you think?? They both are so cute!!!

I am so excited about this post. Not only is it my 200th post, but I get to show off my new nephew. Baby Leo is so adorable and already has brought our family so much joy! He looks so much like a Mason, and so much like my little Mason. I feel so blessed to have him in our family. He is definitely loved!

Kael and Girls

Kael is the little brother of 3 adorable girls. They were all so easy to photograph. They are such a great family, and I was honored to photograph them.

Caden came for his 6 month pictures and I am so glad he did! He has such fun parents, I will welcome them anytime. Happy Un-Birthday Caden. Isn't his smile contagious?

Website Down

I am in the process of changing web hosts, so my website will be down for a while. I noticed that my current host conviently charged my credit card for the next 3 years in advance without my approval! Augh! I was so mad! So I canceled my service and now need to update my website. Stay tuned.

Jackson and Holland

Lucky for me, Jackson and Holland are regulars. I have always loved taking their pictures. Recently, we tried to schedule a session but life kept happening. Over this last weekend we were in St. George together so we went outside for some pics. I am not an outdoor photographer, but I love the way these turned out!

Avery

I have had the opportunity to have some of the neatest families come to my studio lately. They all are so fun, and this family was one of them. Avery was wide awake most of the session, but when she crashed we were able to get so many beautiful shots. I just love her curly hair!

I met Matt's cousin at a family reunion last week, and she asked me to take some pictures of her 5 month old. Just look at this baby girl, how could I say no! She is breathtaking and needs to be a baby model!

Giada

Giada was one of the most beautiful newborns I had ever seen, so when her parents wanted to come back I was trilled. She is still so beautiful and was so fun. Her parents had me laughing the whole session. What a great family!

Ary

Lately I have been a little tired of photography. My lens broke AGAIN. My lighting started on fire and I had to buy a new kid AGAIN. I was so stressed the other day trying to get up my studio that I just screamed. Mason looked at me and laughed and then said "do it AGAIN mom". So I did.
But then came along Ary. She was so sweet and she made my day by sleeping and letting me do my thing. Sometimes, I have parents that come in and are just so in love with their new little one and see that makes be love life and love this job. Ary is so beautiful and really loved.

Another Boy!

I wasn't going to post my beautiful sister in law and her baby to be, but I am so excited for another little Mason boy that I can not resist. I can only dream of being that tiny and 35 weeks prego.

Nevaeh

After 3 boys, we finally got a baby girl on Matt's side of the family! I think she looks so much like her daddy, and so pretty in pink! I just know that she will bring so much fun and happiness to our family.

Henrie Family

This family lives in my neighborhood, and I was so honored to photography them. They are an amazing family with such sweet kids. Baby Lily is such a delight!

Kendra was such a sweety, and she has the one of the biggest smiles I have ever seen. I love her!

Ryder came again for his 2 year pictures. I learned quickly that Ryder would smile if we talked trucks and sang the "I like to Move It" song. He is one of my favorites. What a heart breaker!

Spring Fever Session #1

I have had spring fever so bad! Every time I drive by an orchard of trees with blossoms get excited. Today the weather was so cloudy, I was depressed. But then I realized it was great lighting to take Mason out for some pictures. We had to stop when it started to rain, but these pictures were worth the dreary weather.

Leslie and Calley are the moms of these adorable little boys. They are twins and were both expecting boys. Calley had Madix and when Leslie went to visit her in the hospital she started having contractions and shorly after had her boy, Aadien who was not due for 3 more weeks. They say twins have a special bond, and I think I believe it!

Presley

Presley was one of the most alert babies I have ever seen. She was ready to see the world. Lucky for us, babies eventually crash so we can hurry and take some pictures without the hands in their faces or their eye crossed. Presley was so precious and pretty in pink! I was glad I was able to take her pictures before taking my lens in to get fixed AGAIN! I swear I go into depression without it.

Josee

I often get asked these questions:
1. What is your favorite age to photograph?

Answer: Newborns, newborns, newborns

2. When should I bring my newborn:

Answer: Under 12 days old. Then they will still curl up and sleep in your hands.

3. Question: What is your favorite pose?

Answer: Pictures with the parents are always the most rewarding to capture.

4. Question: What should I bring?


Answer: I have lots of hats and textured blankets (Like the ones above), but I always like to try new ones. So bring them if you have them.

4. What is your most requested prop?

Answer: The baby scale is in every session!

5. How long have you been doing photography?

Answer: It has been over 2 year and I have done over 100 babies!



Josee was honestly one of the best babies I have ever photographed. And look how precious the pictures are with her parents!! Her session went so smooth, and we got a ton of amazing shots. I know her parents will love the pictures we got as much as I do!

Eliza

Eliza..I love her name! She came for her one year old pictures, and out of about 1000 shots, I got 3 with a smile. She just wasn't too sure about my lights and camera. I do think we captured her personality...so sweet and so independent.

Garrett was such a good baby. I don't think he made a peep, although he was awake most of the time. He belongs to one of our favorite families. He looks so cute in some new fun props I got!

Dylan and Collin

These two are always fun to photograph. They are great little models, just look at their hair and eyes! I just love their personalities too. They are 2 of my favorites.

J Family

This family reminded me so much of Matt's family. 3 boys and then a girl! They too are big baseball fans and even brought a pink baseball mit to get her picture taken with. The two oldest are twin boys are were so fun to play with my Mason. Having twin is something I secretly wish for...call me crazy, but I think it would be so fun!

Avorie

I have to admit that 2 and 3 year olds can be a little nerve racking. I never know what to expect. Are they going to scream and run around my house because they don't want their picture taken? (It has happened) I know that no matter what happens, kids can change their mood quickly with a little attention and bribe, but some sessions are more work than others. This little girl however was the best 3 year old I have ever seen. She sat and posed and chatted with me for over an hour, which means we got some amazing shots. I was a little in shock because I knew that no matter what the bribe, my child would never have cooperated that way. So I appreciate Avorie, she reminded me why I love doing this.

Abigael and Bailee

What adorable girls, with big smiles! I grew up with their dad. I have had several old friends come and get their kids pictures taken, it is so fun to see them now as parents. It seems like yesterday we were hanging out living the care free life...boy does time fly.
